In recent years, McDonald's has passed on making Halloween based toys and trick-or-treat pails for children for their Happy Meals.  McDonald's has announced that, in 2024, they will be reducing plastic and cutting plastic Happy Meal toys in their Happy Meals.

We, the fans, would like to see McDonald's consider making some new Halloween based items for their Happy Meals before the change takes place.  In previous decades, McDonald's made Halloween collectibles like trick-or-treat pails, Halloween costumes for the McNugget buddies in 1992 and 1996, and Halloween costumes for their McDonaldland characters - Ronald McDonald, Birdie the Early Bird, the Hamburglar and Grimace, respectively.

McDonald's brought back their Trick or Treat pails in October 2022 and we, the fans, hope that another set of retro Halloween items get released in October 2023 as well!
