I should note that at the state level there is still a lot to be done with telecom. Washington State has some weird laws that protect big telecoms, that I've written about before. It's why we're in red on the Community Broadband Map. State Reps. could remove these antiquated, inappropriate, laws and help make this modern necessity a reality for all.
