Hello again to all of you, aka the amazing people supporting public fiber in Bellingham. I thought you might find it interesting to know that I had the privilege of speaking with Governor Inslee's Policy Advisor today about the importance of public broadband in relation to Net-Neutrality, our civilization, the economy, etc. statewide. We spoke about a lot of things including the need to remove some antiquated laws in Washington State to make municipal fiber access easier and more available, Dig Once Policies, the attack on our basic rights as Americans by the big telecoms, how we're being robbed blind by the big telecoms, and much more. Although their influence on local matters is limited, they too found it odd that Bellingham doesn't already have a real Dig Once Policy.
