On this election day, I wanted to take a minute to share an article about the importance of access to information in relation to democracy. Public Fiber is about a lot more than just performance, which will be way better and cheaper too, it's about choice in how our information is handled and transparency in how it's used and protected. It allows us to hold our governments accountable and helps us demand transparency in how they operate. This article also outlines how this is not a first world problem, but essential to society. Well before our information was digital our access to it was vital. Now that it is digital, that issue is even more important.
