Drakenstein Municipality and Interwaste are proposing to Import large amounts of waste to the picturesque Boland Town of Wellington, Western Cape, South-Africa. The master plan is to produce Refuse Derive Fuel (RDF) and Burn the excess to produce a small amount of Electricity! Drakenstein Community is up in arms and does not want this Waste and Pollution (64km fall out radius) of their environment. This will put all humans, animals, agriculture and the environment at high risk.
