Below is a heartfelt project my 13 year old daughter has been working toward for the past year. Please take a moment and sign this petition to help support her efforts in regulating the laws regarding puppy mills.

Puppy Mills are in-home breeding that people do without a license. they're also very inhumane. The dogs in puppy mills usually don't have clean water with algae in it or much food with mold. Most of the time all the dogs get is bread because it's cheap. The mother dogs are very mistreated. They are bred over and over again until they just give out. When they can't have puppies anymore they are inhumanly euthanized by being shot, drowned, etc. The dogs are bred for quantity, not quality which usually results in health issues. In puppy mills, the dog cages are stacked on top of each other, causing bottom dogs to be covered in feces and urine. The dogs do not get the vet care they need and if a dog gets hurt, it is inhumanly euthanized. The dogs also normally live in the dark. The people running the puppy mills sometimes beat them so the dogs are very scared of people. To sell the puppies the breeders sell the dogs online or sell them to pet stores. 

I am attempting to get three laws passed with your help;

#1: A person can not have more than 5 sexually intact dogs that are old enough to get neutered or spayed in their custody.

#2: A Pet Store can only sell animals that come from pet shelters such as the Oregon Humane Society.

#3: A breeder can advertise online or have a website to advertise but can not sell animals online.

Please, help me put an end to this horrible problem!
