Thats right, San Jose PD has been working diligently on this matter and were able to locate and secure the sign. As of this morning the sign is officially in the hands of History San Jose who will be working on repairing and installing it in the park!
the good news is the sign is in fairly good shape, alas all of the Neon was damaged and will need to be restored!
I apologize for the lack of updates while the disappearance of the sign was being investigated and want to thank everyone for your support in preserving the rich history of San Jose.
Updates will be forthcoming from History San Jose as they get more information on the restoration and repair process as well as the timeline for the signs installation in its new home in the park.
