On Sunday, the OSH sign was removed by still unknown individuals.

Both OSH/Lowes and Google have denied knowledge of the signs removal and the sign is being actively searched for.  The sign was last seen sunday morning being loaded into a white dump-truck (see picture).

If you have knowledge of who removed the sign and/or its current location, including but not limited to seeing the truck w/sign on the freeway, having additional photographs of the truck, know the name of the company that removed it, etc please contact the San Jose Police Department as well as History San Jose.

History San Jose, was still working through the steps needed to acquire the sign but were moving in a very positive direction to acquire and protect this landmark!
