Say NO to Vaccine Passports in Boston
The Issue
Update: On Mayor Wu announced that indoor requirement to show proof of vaccination has been lifted effective as of Feb 18, 2022! Indoor mask mandates remain in effect until Sat Mar 5th.
Boston school children still remain masked in schools!

On December 20th the newly elected Mayor Wu of Boston announced that vaccine passports or proof of vaccination would be required to enter any restaurants, bars, gymnasiums, museums, or entertainment venues in the city of Boston.
Here are the details as posted on twitter https://twitter.com/MayorWu/status/1472960452871307271
This massive over reach of civil liberties has 0 justification, Covid-19 cases in the city have been managed successfully for 2 years.
- 99% of those who have contracted Covid in the City of Boston have recovered.
- Although all deaths are a tragedy, just 1,494 people (the vast majority being over 74 with other health issues) have died since the pandemic started.
The only thing a move like this will accomplish is to discriminate against those, that for personal choices have chosen not to get vaccinated. This decision has nothing to do with science, since vaccinated people are as likely to spread the virus as unvaccinated people. There is no logic in this decision, only massive discrimination imposed on the unvaccinated.
This cannot happen in the city that is a beacon of religious freedom and liberties in America.
Please sign this petition and let the major know that in Massachusetts we honor person choice & liberty and we will not allow blatant discrimination in our city of hope!
