To whom this may concern. My name is Alexandra and I am a survivor from a place called Growing Together Inc. Myself and fellow survivors were victims of torture, child abuse, neglect, sex abuse, mind control, slavery, over various ways of brain washing, human trafficking, prescribed medications we should have never had and the list goes on. We were imprisoned by the cult from ages 12-22 against our will.  This entity operated for far to long in the city of lake worth which we do not understand why knowing there's over 1200 DCF complaints over the years of abuse. No one saved us or could identify we were victims of abuse because we were isolated from the outside world.  

Our parents are victims scammed into paying thousands of dollars to have our most basic human rights taken away to be tortured and abused. Being told broken promises that their kids would be perfect little sober angles getting out. In fact the majority of us were treated for a disease we never even had!

It has taken us over 15, 20 + years for us to finally talk about our trauma. We demand justice and we want the building demolished. It is very traumatizing to drive by for all of us. We are constantly reminded of the horrors we have lived as children. We don't care it's a historical building. We want it gone. We want to watch this building burn to the ground to help us heal.  We all suffer from C- PTSD, mind control trauma, various different health issues and auto immune diseases as a direct result of this place. 

This building brings absolutely no value to the City of Lake Worth. It sticks out like a sore thumb. We are open to discussion on what can be replaced on this property. Perhaps a park in memory for all the lives lost because they had gone to Growing Together Inc. The fact of the matter is a lot of us have committed suicide because of the long term damage of this place.

You will learn about our survivors story's of the troubled teen industry even ones from Growing Together Inc. Help us advocate for reform in the troubled teen industry and establish more human rights for adolescents. 

It's time for change and it starts with YOU.
