In digging down into the details of the proposed three megatowers at the Safeway site at Broadway and Commercial...we've learned  the Safeway store itself will become a mega store - expanding its size by almost 70% - ballooning from about 30,000 sq feet to more than 51,000 sq feet.

A "super Safeway store" that poses yet another threat to the small businesses and independent character of the Commercial Drive area.

Please share this petition wherever you can, and encourage those who care about Commercial Drive - even if they don't live in the 'hood - to sign.
