Dear all, We've been now notified that the LLDC has recommended the applications for the 3 concrete batching plants and asphalt plant at Bow East be withdrawn, and that the applicants have been notified of the matter! This is a DIRECT result of our campaign, and the pressure that we have all put in unison on our representatives and the media for the right to clean air and less noise in East London, and we are thrilled and proud of this achievement. However, the war is not won yet... While this represents an important benchmark and means that the applications in their current state will be probably dropped, the applicants may still re-apply with a different scope.
