The importance of a thriving artistic community is well known. While many services make life possible (doctor offices, markets, and gas stations), creative hubs such as community centers help make life worth living.

Since the closing of Gathering Grounds, a community center geared primarily toward youth, in the early 2010's, the city of Kettering and the region in general has had no safe, secure, and positive environment in which to enjoy the creative fruits of the area, specifically when it comes to music.

We believe that by creating a small, efficiently ran community center, in the image of Gathering Grounds, we'll be able to not only begin to positively influence our city's creative atmosphere, but also provide some much needed cash influx to the area south of Stroop Rd.
