Have you had an extremely high water bill from the City of Edmond? Edmond water rates and usage are out of control, they are the highest rates in the surrounding Oklahoma cities. (See below for comparison.) The City gets the majority of its water from Lake Arcadia and only buys a portion from the City of Oklahoma City, there is no reason for the water to be so expensive. It is time for the City of Edmond to stop overcharging the residents of double the prices of the majority of the cities of Oklahoma. For perspective, here's how Edmond compares the water rates for 2,000-10,000 per thousand gallons to all surrounding cities:

Edmond - $6.68

OKC - $3.42

Moore: $3.30

Yukon - $4.05

Norman - $3.35 (0-5000), $ $4.10 (5000-10000)

Midwest City - $4.16

Mustang - $$3.34 (2000-4000), $3.75 (4000-7000), $4.15 (7000-11000)

Piedmont - $6
