The Council's propaganda spin "consultation" is now live. There is, surprise surprise, no mention of the word referendum at all even though the law is clear we can have one. Wonder why?! 

Please take part and tell them in QUESTION 11 what you think of a Deal that imposes an all-powerful Mayor on Cornwall...

Remember: you can be in favour of the (no big deal) powers being offered to Cornwall AND oppose a Mayor being forced upon Cornwall.

If the people of Cornwall vote no to a Mayor (or the councillors do), the Conservatives who run Cornwall will simply go back to Government and demand powers with no Mayor. That's exactly what three Conservative MPs are already saying (George Eustice, Derek Thomas and Sheryll Murray). They KNOW the people of Cornwall will never forgive their party if it forces an all-powerful Mayor on us without a referendum approval.
