URGENT CALL TO ACTION - To Protect our St. Augustine History

A bill has been filed in the Floirda legislature that would stiffen penalties for vandalism. It would protect all historical memorials such as the Ponce de Leon memorial, the Menorcan Memorial the Father Lopez memorial, and the Plaza memorials, and many more.  Around the country and state there is an epidimic of vandalizm on our historical memorials - all of them from veterans to explorers and pioneers to presidents.  If we wish to learn from our history we must keep it alive and in front of us.

The house bill, #1251 is stalled in Rep. Cindy Stevenson's Committee, and may die if she doesn't hear it next week.

We are asking everyone to take a moment and call her office and politely ask her to agenda House BIll 1251 at her next Committee meeting.
