Dear Friend, I wanted to update you. Ron Rawls isn't giving up. He is planning another riot at the City Commission meeting on the 22nd. We expect he will keep this up until he gets his way. There are two things that you can do to help: 1. Plan to attend the meeting on the 22nd and thank the Commission for keeping the Constitucion Plaza Memorial (if you can't attend, you can call and email here: cosa@citystaug.com ) and for standing strong to protect and preserve our history and honor veterans of yesterday. 2. We would like to get a poll of City residents to show the elected officials how the voters feel about the issue. We have already accumulated nearly 1/2 the cost and need only $1,200 to complete it.
