It has been brought to us all that modified vehicles and loud exhausts are an issue for our local residents. There have been many complaints, even a petition started by a local by the name of Reva. 

To understand her concern is that loud vehicles brings terror to herself and others. If you think about it, a lot of vehicles are loud with the way they were manufactured.. Reva shared a video of a motorcyclist crossing an intersection, which showed no harm to anybody.

We live in an area where there are MANY transport drivers and tractors, ect get around on our roads for work. A lot of people have bought vehicles which have been modified or don’t have quietist exhaust system. Some people cannot afford to get new mufflers and such for their personal vehicles. Sarnia has never been the quietist town as I’ve learned from my elders that they would take their hot rods around town which contained noise, yet now they complain? Come on. There are many of us who enjoy sounds of cars and appreciate the different modifications done to them. Our neighbours and friends/kids, ect all have something enjoy. Stop blaming car enthusiasts for reckless driving. Phone your local police officers for those problems. 

We have rights and freedom, don’t let anybody destroy this for us. Please sign if you think the claim of charging/ banning local car enthusiasts with modified cars is complete nonsense.
