Commissioner Tully spoke out on February 17, 2021 about plowing alleyways.

“If we start plowing in alleyways, you start collapsing garage doors ’cause there’s nowhere for that snow to go.” 

Instead, the city will be using garbage trucks to make pathways as they pick up garbage. 

My question is, do you think that resolves the alley issues and people getting stuck Mr. Tully? What about when the garbage trucks don’t come? What about when the garbage trucks get stuck? We all know the garbage trucks have gotten stuck plenty of times. What about when the garbage trucks only come to pick up only once a week? What about when the garbage trucks come late or after we have to be at work and school? What’s your plan for that?

Our leaders tend to have the excuses, but not a solution. So if the plowing alleyways will damage our garage doors, why not find another way?

Put our tax dollars to use and brainstorm for once.
