Planned Parenthood Walnut Creek Buffer Zone Ordinance

Planned Parenthood Walnut Creek Buffer Zone Ordinance
The Issue
The Walnut Creek Planned Parenthood Health Center has provided essential, affordable health care services to our community for decades. We are calling on Walnut Creek City Council and Mayor Kevin Wilk to implement a safety buffer zone ordinance outside of the Walnut Creek Planned Parenthood health center.
Anti-reproductive rights protestors have created a hazardous environment around the Walnut Creek health center. Recently, protestors have caused a car crash and have used bear spray against people who disagreed with their messages. Ensuring that the entrance to this health center is safe and accessible is essential to the greater mission of Walnut Creek’s overall success, a healthy and prosperous community.
We urge Walnut Creek Planned Parenthood supporters to sign this petition and call on Walnut Creek City Council and Mayor Kevin Wilk to implement a safety buffer zone ordinance at the health center.
