Stringent action be taken against the UP Development Authority, for their careless behaviour has resulted in the untimely demise of my Nana. Seems like, it is normal business for the authorities in Varanasi to dig up roads and leave them for eternity to somehow magically fill up. However, they do not realise the repercussions families have felt due to the resultant loss.

Nana was a very fit individual, who would walk to his factory situated at Govind Ji Lane, Varanasi on a daily basis. Little were we aware that the callous and irresponsible behaviour of the authority would result in his sudden demise.

Moreover, a number of private hospitals even denied operating my old man on a urgent basis, till the trauma centre at BHU (Benaras Hindu University) helped.

Moreover, there are thousands if not lakhs who’ve lost their family members due to the callous behaviour and untimely in transit “development work” of the authorities on the streets of Varanasi and other parts of the country.

This is the plea of a broken grandson and an agitated citizen who doesn’t feel like paying taxes anymore.
