I would first like to take the time to thank you for reading this. So it has come to my attention that the fellow residents of Oak swamp and Major Polisena want to privatize the lake. Being born and raised in Johnston for the last 24 years the lake has been a second home to me. I enjoy taking my kayaks Out for some peace and serenity. I believe it is not right to only allow the people who own lake front property access. Oak swamp is a public lake and should remain as such. If you could please take the time and sign my petition so our elected officials can hear the voice of the majority and not just the privileged few. Thank you again Brittany Valentine
