Demand Chicago Public Schools Prioritize Solving the Bussing Crisis Now!

The Issue

Friends, with just three weeks' notice before the start of the school year, Chicago Public Schools sent a notice to families in magnet and selective enrollment programs that they would not have bus transport for the 2023-2024 school year.

Help us tell CPS that "we tried" is NOT enough and hold CPS officials accountable for finding solutions for families. Please sign our petition to the Board of Education do demand that this issue stay an immediate priority and that CPS find a solution to this crisis. 

This devastating blow affects an estimated 8,000 children, leaving them without any transportation to school with a mere three weeks' notice. This includes ALL general ed Magnet and Selective Enrollment students.
