OCT 31, 2017 — Hiding behind a two-letter alias, some bikers launched a hate campaign against me today. In a petition addressed to Mayor Gregor Robertson, they want the mayor to ban me from Vancouver. They say "He needs to go", which may be construed as a veiled threat. Twitter has removed a Tweet about me today as defamatory. All this about standing up for the rights of disabled and elderly Canadians. Although I've received personal insults and profanities since I started writing to City Hall, I've never uttered a disparaging remark about cyclists, most of whom I believe to be decent people. My problem has always been undemocratic, autocratic and wasteful government. This goes to show what kind of people our elected representatives associate with, and how they're turning Vancouver into a Third World city with intimidation as the political dynamic. It goes to show that the people of Vancouver have an urgent issue to resolve. Restore Vancouver.
