Craig Sumberg's scheduling request letter to the Mayor has been sent. Thank you Emily Schoenfeld for the assist! Now we wait to hear back from City Hall. Meanwhile we have plans to speak with the newly elected and sitting Borough Presidents and City Council Members. We also plan to reach out to Community Board 7. Please call, tweet or write to your elected and appointed representatives to let your views be known! Also, you call 311 to contact Department of Buildings to let them know the METRO is not being maintained well and is deteriorating.

Liza Cooper and Joshua Silk's Metro Dreams photography project is underway. If you are interested in participating in the portrait/storytelling project email: friendsofmetrotheater@gmail.com with "Metro Dreams" in the subject line.

Lauren Flick's Metro Promo is in the works. Regarding the missing R in the METRO marquee, Lauren is writing/producing/directing a 60 second promo for Reimaging, Rebuilding and Reopening the METRO. Stacey Bramhall has created a Friends of Metro Theater logo using Vaishnavi Rana's detailed rendering of the theater. Stacey also created a METRO DREAMS logo. Soon we hope to have a website launched. Much thanks to Stacey and Vaishnavi for donating their time and talent.
