I've been invited to speak at the South Seattle Crime Prevention Council's meeting this coming Wednesday May 3 at 7pm. Location: South East Senior Center, 4655 S Holly St, Seattle, WA 98118. This meeting is open to the public. I'll have informational handbills, a paper petition and a brief power point presentation. I'd love to see you there! This speaking engagement comes on the heels of a recent shooting in Rainier Beach, which left a man lying dead in an alleyway. An AK-47 was used in the shooting, representing an escalation in weaponry for this area. This is just another reminder of why we need Cure Violence in Seattle!
