I am pleased to announce that our petition to bring a Cure Violence-based program to Seattle to address inner city violence found over 100 supporters within the first 48 hours of being actively promoted. I am now looking for some volunteers to help circulate this petition further. Can you fill one page of a paper copy, with signatures from neighbors and friends? Do you have a lot local connections online who have an interest in reducing violence in our neighborhoods? Can you commit to setting a personal goal of recruiting 10, 25 or 50 signatures? And if you're even more ambitious, would you like to join me on the street for door-to-door or outside-the-PCC signature gathering next Saturday or Sunday (April 8 or 9?)
