UPDATE:

All of the Just Pups LLC. location have been shut down with the exception of the East Hanover location. Mr. Losacco continues to have no regard for the law, or the animals in his charge. It is clear that he should not be allowed to continue on this path, and be ban from selling or owning any animals.

Please support the Mayor Lou Lamatina and the Community of Emerson is the fight against Mr. Lasocco's frivolous law suit against the town for restitution and to reopen his store there. Mr. Losacco has proven time and time again that he has no intention to follow the laws and we can not stand for it any longer.

Just Pups LLC is a pet store chain, with one located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Although there have been several complaints in the past of customers purchasing sick puppies, some who have died, the Board of Health, along with officers from the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, recently shut down the East Brunswick location. 267 criminal charges, so far, have been filed with the East Brunswick Courts.

The owner, 50-year-old Vincent “Vinnie” LoSacco, is accused of exposing puppies in the store to illnesses among other charges, the report stated. Several dogs died after they were bought by customers. Three dead dogs were found kept in a freezer inside the store, officials said. State inspectors said he failed to prevent infection from being spread inside the store. Animals were unnecessarily exposed to giardia, distemper, upper respiratory infections, as well as other infectious diseases.

As some people are aware, pet stores purchase their puppies from "Puppy mills".

As residents of East Brunswick, New Jersey, we DO NOT condone such practices and inhumane conditions. It is obvious that the owner DOES NOT care about the animals in his charge, nor does he care about his customers, or the East Brunswick Community.
