The Issue
On February 28th 2019, Mayor Drew Dilkens announced that 50 acres of land known as the South Cameron Woodlot which was classified as "Provincially Significant Wetland" would lose this designation. This decision, made in collaboration with Premier Doug Ford, would strip this land of it's protected status and make way for residential development.
The goal of this petition is to let Mayor Drew Dilkens know that residents of Windsor want this land to remain protected.
