Simone Jardim, along with other top professionals in the sport hosted a #pickleball kid's clinic at Peak Performance Pickleball Academy in Bonita Springs, Florida.

Mayor Cava & Commissioners, we can have these programs in our schools.  In the Miami Dade Recreation Plan (March 2019), the consultants noted the high crime rate amongst juveniles. However, a 31% reduction in juvenile arrests was observed when Fit2Lead was implemented over the same time frame. 

We have a pickleball community ready and waiting to help our Parks and Schools bring to our youth a sport that is inexpensive and quick to learn. We need you to invest in dedicated pickleball courts to enhance the future of our youth. The best players in the world today learned pickleball in public parks in Florida.  I am sure Miami Dade has many champions waiting to be discovered.
