Verizon has proposed to install 4G/5G cell towers (antennas) on the rooftop of Providence Hall on Columbia Street in Hudson, NY, downtown next to high-density Bliss Towers, Schuyler Court apartments, and lower Warren Street.

This proposal is extremely disturbing, as the radiation from this equipment is known to be dangerous

More than 2,000 published scientific papers and letters prove that nonionizing radiation increases cancer risk, genetic damage, reproductive and nervous system problems, learning and memory deficits, and neurological disorders in humans. That’s why over 50 cities throughout the world have banned cell towers within their boundaries.

Let’s not create another Flint, Michigan

It is foolish to propose cell tower installations in the middle of a bustling town when unpopulated rural sites are readily available in Columbia County. It is unacceptable to expose our population to a harmful risk and ‘hope for the best’.

We are not alone: Robert F. Kennedy Jr is also speaking out

Just last month, Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s Children’s Health Defense complained to the FCC about 5G cell towers on homes. According to their letter, the FCC does not have the authority to override people’s rights to bodily autonomy and their property-based rights to “exclude” the wireless radiation emitted by third parties from their homes.

Radiation emitting 5G cell towers do not belong in populated areas, and they should be excluded from the downtown locale of Hudson.
