No Parking Meters on Grand Avenue

The Issue

Parking Meters on Grand Avenue

On August 11, 2015 Saint Paul Mayor Coleman presented the 2016 Budget Address, proposing a "NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL AREA PARKING METER PILOT PROJECT" which would have parking meters installed by May 2016. Grand Avenue is one of several areas being considered for this pilot project and possibly future permanent parking meters.

The businesses on Grand Avenue value our customers and residents. We strive to keep it one of the premier areas in the metro to Dine, Shop & Live, and Parking meters on Grand Avenue could adversely affect the small businesses, consumers the local feel of the Avenue, as well the residents on Grand Avenue and surrounding Grand Avenue.
