Bailey Avenue in Buffalo is a lawless raceway.  For years there are parts of this busy corridor that have not even had traffic lines painted.  There have been 160 crashes between pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.  3 Cyclists have died because there is absolutely no infrastructure to support them.  Bailey was designed to move cars fast with no concern for anyone that doesn't drive a car.  There needs to be a change.  At the very least, Bailey needs to be properly striped.  Ideally, it would have room for people to ride bikes, particularly during this time of Covid, when people who cannot afford a car are forced to ride the bus.  The residential areas surrounding Bailey are lower income neighborhood and the rate of car ownership is low.  Having an arterial that caters to car traffic while completely ignoring the needs of cyclists and pedestrians is unconscionable.
