Mayor and City Council: Re-Zone Mudd's Land as a Park for Everyone

Mayor and City Council: Re-Zone Mudd's Land as a Park for Everyone
The Issue
Neighbors,
Have we won the battle only to lose the war? After finally getting Mudd's back from the State Redevelopment Agency last November, In April, the City proposed to give Mudd's to a private business owner in exchange for some donations to the Community Gardens (donations that would not come close to the appraised value of Mudd's).
Despite his promise to the contrary, current Mayor Bill Clarkson has not started the rezoning process to turn Mudds into Park zoning (it is now "Limited Office") and until that happens it is not safe.
Please tell Clarkson and the Council that they need to follow the State's directive and "append Mudd's land to the Community Garden property as a park."
