Dear everyone

Hope all of you are doing well.

Thank you very much for signing my petition.

I am delighted to tell you that now I have contact with my mother. Recently, since I have started the petition, after three years of silence from my family in China, my mother suddenly requested to call me. I was sure that our call was being monitored so I did not inquire into the reason why she had suddenly contacted me. It is a big relief for me to be able to check on my mother how is she doing. She is taking care of my brother’s 4-year old son as his wife is working at the hospital as a nurse and currently only returns home once in a while.

Although we can only call once in a week or two and have short conversations on the Weixin asking simple conversations like “How are you? What are you doing?”, I am very happy to have this connection resumed.

Unfortunately, my mother does not know anything about my brother. Our worries continue…. We miss him and are worried about his wellbeing so much. During our call I can see from the eyes of my mom how much pain she is bearing due to such separation and concern. We hope he is released soon!

Hereby, I kindly request your continuous support in spreading the petition so to gain more signatures to reach the next step.

For those who are observing Ramadan, Ramadan Mubarek!

May Allah accept our fasting, prayers and Duas, ameen. While you are making Dua, please ask Allah for the release of all the innocent people, Uyghurs, including my brother, so they can join their families and go back to their normal lives.

Please share my petition with your families, friends, and social network. I appreciate your help very much!

For any further questions or feedback that could help the petition, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kindest regards,
