I hope you’re all keeping well.

Next week we start our six-week strike and yesterday our amazing supporters from all walks of life came together to show their love and solidarity. Even though I am shy I spoke out alongside my workmates about what this fight for equality means to us.

When you really think about it, equal rights to sick pay and maternity rights is really not much to ask. But for us to be treated with dignity, respect and equality would change our lives.

Although we are hopeful the bosses at Great Ormond Street Hospital will see sense and give us what we need and deserve, we are also willing to go all the way!
