Supporters, you can go to this website above and do a case search on this case number.
Also, the CEO, Sandro Lucarini, signed my petition, and responded as well. He states that he was not the owner of the company, which after doing some research, I do not believe. On ALL of my Masterchef Camp emails had his name at the bottom, Sandro Lucarini, CEO. His wife, Rebeca Garces, is the COO of Campus Cerdanya. Something is very suspicious about this. Please share my petition so we can get the word out about what they did to hard working families. #payusback

Dear families,
I just found out about the existence of your comments on this website and I would like to give my vision and clarify some points:
First of all, I understand your anger and I am very sorry that this situation has come to pass.
Campus Cerdanya LLC was established in 2017 in order to develop the MasterChef Camps in US. To do this, we rented the license to use the brand to the producer of the MasterChef TV Series and the company's partners contributed more than 1 million dollars so that the company could operate during the first years. Little by little the camps were consolidated and in 2020 we expected to reach the break even point of our business. Unfortunately, in March of that year the COVID pandemic broke out and we did not receive authorization to operate our camps or permits for our team to travel (most of our team comes from outside the US), so we were forced to cancel the camps that year. Faced with this situation, the parents began to demand the return of the deposits and our treasury was insufficient to meet these returns and the operating expenses of keeping the company running, so we were forced to file an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC process) and put all the assets of the company in the hands of an assignee who will liquidate the assets and make a distribution, at the end of the process.
Before this, we tried by all means to find funds to continue operating the Company, but since it is a foreign capital company, it was impossible for us to obtain any government subsidy or bank loan, nor did we find investment partners willing to invest in our company given the market instability due to pandemic environment. Unfortunately, the pandemic has overtaken us and has taken our company ahead, as it has happened with many others around the world, and although I know that it is not a consolation for you, it has also taken all the money, time, effort and illusions that we had invested in this Project.
Another issue that I would also like to clarify is that I was just an employee from the Company, not the owner of the Company. I had a small indirect stake, which is obviously worthless to date. I lost my job in the USA and I had to return to my old job in Spain.
I hope these lines have helped you to understand a little better how we have reached this unfortunate situation for all of us.
Sincerely,
Sandro Lucarini
