In wake of the trend of White people calling the police on Black and minority people when there is no crime being committed and no imminent threat or danger; I demand my lawmakers to criminalize calling the police as an act of racial prejudice/hate crime. This act of false reporting has been used by White people to weaponize their privilege in an effort to cause physical, emotional, mental, and financial hardship to innocent people based on the color of their skin for decades. This act of false reporting by White people can very well lead to the DEATH of an innocent person as a result of an even larger issue of police brutality against Black and Brown people across the United States. I demand this crime be categorized as Domestic Terrorism. I demand any person, who uses their skin color and privilege as a weapon against another person be registered with the U.S. Department of Justice and their respective State’s justice department as PUBLIC AGITATORS. I demand a bill be presented that will call for the arrest, criminal charging, and trial, of these PUBLIC AGITATORS. Calling the police on minorities when no crime has been committed is immoral. Not only are these Public Agitators putting the lives of innocent people at risk based on racism, abusing the system in this manner ties up emergency lines, taking another person’s spot who could be having a true emergency.  Non-emergency calls are a burden for dispatchers who are trying to triage real emergencies. 911 emergency calling is not a hotline for White people to leverage their privilege in an effort to further their racist agenda by causing harm to Black and Brown people.
