The Maryland General Assembly will soon repeal its State Song ("Maryland, My Maryland") and they need a new state song to replace it with... Let's make "Maryland Proud (A Place Called Maryland)" the new state song! 

This song was started by Josh Hastings (in 2012) in Deep Creek, MD, and finished (in 2020) in Salisbury, MD with the help of Sarah Bernstein, Chuck Cook, and Alyssa Hastings. The lyrics reflect the thoughts and comments of dozens of Marylanders who responded to a May 2020 Facebook poll about what they love about Maryland.
