Oklahoma needs new teachers, Oklahoma needs to retain current teachers. Teachers in Oklahoma need a raise of $10,000 Year 1, COLA adjustments annually and the restoration of education funding in Oklahoma to meet regional levels. We also need fiscal responsibility from the state level down to district level. 

Our neighbor states are paying much more and luring away our teachers while our most loyal and best stay here and fight. Current compensation levels eliminate new college graduates entering the profession.
