The first petition is a spin-off of this petition, which asks Marvel Comics to change the current direction of "The Amazing Spider-Man" comic book series, to hire a new editor and writer that were not part of the "Brand New Day" brain trust, to change Ben Reilly from the villain Chasm back to his old heroic self, and to get Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson back together and remarry.
