Before I pack and get ready for our trip to Ireland ( Laurie and I leave in the morning), I just want to make one more pitch for my petition to get Marsha the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The good news.. I believe I have found someone who can get my letter- and this petition to President Biden's inner circle! I will send information and this petition once I get the last 257 signatures -once we reach 2500 signatures.
So, if you would in honor of Marsha's upcoming 104th birthday on October 17th, PLEASE  TAKE THE TIME TO SHARE this petition with friends and family - and if you open the petition and click on the link to her resume, you will really understand why Marsha deserves this award. She was passed over for the Academy 's Jean Hersholt Award- lets get her this one. ( and BTW - you CAN sign so that your name doesnt show on the petition- if that is a concern you have)
And if you have a few dollars to "feed the meter" to keep the petition going, I'd be so grateful I 've already put in over 250.00 of my own $$ - i need to save some $$ for my Ireland trip! LOL
And its not too early to think about the holidays "Marsha Hunt's Sweet Adversity" is on Blu-Ray & DVD and on Amazon Prime and You Tube TV etc. I hope that high school teachers will show the film to students... and very soon, I hope to start a non profit.. inspired by Marsha's activism.. to connect young people with Hollywood activists and activism.
