Good news everyone, following successful funds and completion of engineering works, Llangollen Railway has now successfully re-opened and is once again operating train services from Llangollen to Carrog. Many thanks again for everyone who signed and shared the petition.

However, this is not the end of the matter. The site of the track bed on the former Air products site in recent months has unfortunately been sold to a housing association and is now further at risk of being obscured by a housing estate. But all is not lost yet regarding the railway route so please keep signing and sharing so we can get additional support to press Wrexham Council to keep the route clear for a possible future mainline re-connection.
