Petition updateReverse the decision to cut Arriva Midlands funding - save Sunday servicesUpdate 3: Don't stop now

Thanks once again to everybody that has signed and shared. Arriva have not done a very good job informing people of the changes - various people I have spoken to were not aware of the changes.
I spoke to a carer a few days ago who said she can no longer work evening or Sunday shifts, and this has had a significant impact on both herself and her employer. I have heard of an increase in teenagers being asked to leave the train (out of school hours) for refusing to pay. Previously they could use busses at a reduced rate for just £10 per year.
Since the last update, April 1st has rather quickly passed and the cuts have been implemented. That being said, we will continue to make the county council reverse the changes or convince an alternative provider to takeover. I have been in contact with Diamond, NXWM, Select and igo.
I encourage everybody to send receipts and tickets for alternative transport to Staffordshire County Council requesting reimbursement. Though there is zero chance they will honour claims, it will certainly make a point. Today I sent a letter requesting a reimbursement of an Uber cost that has previously been covered by the Arriva 2E service. I can no longer leave or enter the South Staffs region by bus (nor travel within it!).
Please continue to share the petition, and share your letters and reimbursement requests you have sent on Twitter using the hashtag #RestoreCannockBusses / #RestoreStaffordBusses
