Rally for Justice of Murdered High School Student and Memorial Bench Dedication

New Jersey high school student’s brutal unsolved murder has been ignored for decades. Now her family and friends want justice

MAPLEWOOD, N.J. – Friends and family of Carol Ann Farino are rallying for answers and a re-opening of her murder case and will be dedicating a memorial bench in her honor on Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the Springfield Avenue Gazebo in Maplewood, N.J.

Township Committee member Jamaine Cripe and other officials will attend and local musicians Dan Crisci and Ginny Johnston will perform in Carol’s honor.

Carol was only 17 when she was strangeled to death with her own stocking after she was last seen walking home from her waitress job at Milt’s Cup and Saucer in Maplewood on Nov. 3, 1966.
