He ain't heavy he's my son - we are the Champions for our children - we Parents must be!    With no CCTV cameras in disabilities places made mandatory - providers get away with whatever they do to our children or adults children...including harm and abuse - with no record of it to prosecute them or prove what actually happened....especially our non verbal children do suffer constantly at the hands of uncaring workers...
     Those providers in disabilities who hurt our vulnerable innocent children must be made accountable for what they do. They should not be allowed to think it is ok and normal to hurt those who are vulnerable and non verbal, those in their care! While they receive their Christmas bonus pays with our children's funds and party and make themselves wealthy of the funding, the needy parents of disability children have had to struggle and fight and desperate for support and help which comes with the worry of who will hurt them. For many children 7000 in disabilities this last year with NDIS providers have been harmed in programs, care and respite, and parents suffered with no justice, no prosecutions for offenders in the disabilities system, parents trying to meet their children's many needs come to the end of themselves. WE must not let this continue.
It is Christmas "unto us a child is born..." this child, in the stable, Jesus had a destiny a big one and his parents a holy mission...all babies that are born have a plan and destiny for their lives...even those children born with seeming disabilities. There is a destiny for their lives and ours as their parents.
WE are given a huge responsibility to love them and care for them it is a heavy one but fulfilling and we must become their protectors, guides, nurturers and champions for our children's rights as human beings and they have the right to equal rights with the rest of humanity. We must be their champions their heroes and we must fight for them...things will not come to us easily or our special children but we must rise to the occasion
The new movie Dune 2021 is about a young man called Paul who is the chosen one for the people - his parents knew his calling, a plan for his life, and their need to protect him from harm.. his father Duke says 2021 "if anything happens to me will you protect our son...? the mother answers "with my life!"
I am James mother I will protect him with my life, until my last dying breathe...all our children are chosen with a destiny and so we are given the mandate to raise them and fight for them, stand up for them, no matter what circumstances we endure. When he was injured at a respite house two years ago I wanted to curl up and do nothing but then I got angry and saw what was needed, and again this year at a day program bruises to his arm and suspension of my son's services by the CEO who continued to deny it happened of course - now I am very angry and it is right to be so! How dare they harm those who are weaker than them, those like my son ! I would never take him back to a place like that we were glad to leave - there will be no reconciliation.
Those vulnerable children who cannot talk or help himself, so innocent and harmless and the workers and managers take their tempers and lack of skills out on ones like James and bruise him and hurt him and cover it up for their political reasons. I will fight and do whatever it takes to make sure he is protected from harm since the disability providers will not do what is right yet one day they will be forced to.
We the parents are vulnerable children's protectors with many battles we will see it through and defend them. We must fight. So stand up and fight for your vulnerable ones who have no voice - we must be their voice...to do nothing is to let evil, greed and injustice win in a dark world.
