Discrimination and no justices for our disabilities children...How dare they let them get away with it!
Justice doesnt happen for disabilities children and adults... lately watching the 'city of lies' movie which looked into the deaths of famous black rappers in America they are still unsolved...shot down in cold blood, the lies that kept being spun were endless in the police ranks a it may have been one of their own undercover cops that killed the young rappers...the mother of one of them sued the state for the death of her son....twice...good for her...
it was noted at the end of the movie that only 50% of murders of African Americans are investigated...actual murders...why? The police didnt care, it was and still is racism and discrimination that does not allow justice to be done...a police roadblock, a system corrupted by greed...
It is similiar in disabilities and actually yes for the aborigines of Australia...justice does not happen easily if at all when one of the indigenous youth die. Shame on Australia.
When disability people encounter abuse, or harm physical, emotional or mental the carer organizations also are not held accountable.
The story is merely told...they promise they will investigate and then quickly or slowly cover it up hoping you will forget about it.
The ndis so called watchdog is a tame sleeping hound that does not frighten the provider carer organizations into deterrence and does not bite them for their misdeeds or even their fraudalence with disability people's money yet you think they would considering it comes from the Government or NDIS and via taxpayers money.
Notable the federal government i.e. Scott M. cutting off funds to disabilities (taking from the poor physically and financially) and then wantonly spends 30 million on buying land for the badgery's Airport at western sydney...we never wanted...land that was only worth 3 million dollars the newspapers say now. Their bad.
Meanwhile, dear Gladys our premier...the love fool so called of another corrupt politician has had the approvals for grants of 250 million dollars shredded. Destroying evidence of perhaps wrongdoing? Where does she get off? Acting so sad that her boyfriend was corrupt - she never knew?? An astute and tough business woman who did not hesitate to shut down people's lives in NSW for the pandemic scare and continues to admonish us for being so called 'complacent' the politicians love it love being able to wield fear like a strong whip of control over the masses. One day they will get their just desserts. It wont be pavlova.
This gross injustice against people that struggle in Australia and the vulnerable is wrong. Disabilities (8000 incidents of abuse and harm recorded in a few months) encounter silent walls of apathy when violence or abuse or neglect against them is reported. 47% are resolved through the NDis quality commission talking it down diplomatically in favour of the provider organizations
who reaping a lot of money live off the fat of the land buying the latest new shiny vehicles...for their businesses and themselves...
I encountered this when taking my son out of Dare Disabilities we were struggling to pay all the bills they kept churning out and then I found money missing they had taken from my son's funding...the accountant manager admitted it but said we will put it back - yes you better I said (dogs I thought to myself) They steal money off my son and ask for more...we left there and then found similiar things in the next provider organizations...they have no conscience no shame and no accountability
only constant stealing and lying...
NDIS only gave out one fine in two years (for the organization letting Ann Marie Smith die) and only 22 individuals were banned despite thousands more tip offs of abuse incidents...
An article by the Sydney morning herald notes that in 47 % of cases no further action is taken when a report of abuse is given....sounds like the police discrimination in America again... the police wont investigate - no cameras - no evidence...dont care
and with 42% of cases of abuse, advice and assistance is given to the person and provider - advice - nothing happened - assistance? We put protocols in place that were already there you report an incident - they say naughty provider!
wheres the punishments ? Where are the fines ? Where are the prosecutions?
In 11 percent a resolution process is undertaken (85% of those are unresolved!!!) what a joke
of the remaining 15% these are closed for reasons including the complainant withdrawing the complaint (probably had everyone telling them they were wrong or blocking them from services or persuading them to drop it or out of sheer exhaustion from the situation) or the commission iniated compliance action. What compliance? The disability services comply by endeavouring to cover it up. They want the disability poor sod's money...they dont want to lose their jobs...they want money to run their business they dont care what happens in the process. Not their problem.
24% of those 15% of cases remain open whereas 76% are closed.
How dare they.
Taking off the vulnerable, allowing those vulnerable to be hurt and then hidng that and taking more.
As in the words of little Greta over climate change..how dare you!
You are despicable yes you the providers who steal and cover up abuse incidents against our children and you Stuart Robert
you say you are here to help disabilities but you make them struggle and suffer even to the point of death or others just giving up at the least...
the blood of those we have lost in care is on your head and the heads of those providers who did not care and did not do the right things...
Their mouths are full of lies and their eyes hard and steely because greed rues the day.
This is wrong.
We need things to change we need to protect those with disabilities with an independent organization that is not making money out of the disabilities sector. One that can regulate these organizations who claim to 'care' while secretly rubbing their hands together for the money they will get and grow fat on.
Meanwhile those like poor Ann Marie Smith starved to death without food or care left in the dark...
how dare you do that to a disability person
how dare you cover it up
and how dare you make money out of her need.
How dare you not train your workers properly and use the bare minimum so that they take their stress out on our disability children...because they cannot handle working in disabilities at all...it was just for the money...
how dare you leave a young girl to drown in the bath and her mother to cry for the rest of her life over her memory... and none of you punished...
how dare you
how dare you take their money but refuse to care for them
and how dare you lie and turn your backs on them...
One day it will happen to you...
justice must come
and those of us who do actually give a damn
will continue to fight for that justice
the day of reckoning must come for the innocents who have suffered and who have died at the hands of the 'caring' services who refused to actually have a heart...
I cannot bear to watch this anymore ... we must take action lift up our voices for the vulnerable and we must hold all who work and organizations that run disabilities including NDIS to account...
Walk with me, march with me, fight with me for our children (3 December 2020 International Disability day) to have proper care and protection from harm when they have to be in respite or accommodation... protection for the rest of their lives...at present there is none...Anndrea Wheatley for James x https://www.change.org/p/the-federal-government-new-protection-laws-needed-for-vulnerable-persons-with-disabilities-over-18-years-old/psf/share
