Food labelling isn't anti-industry, it's pro-health

The article argues that front-of-pack warning labels are not anti-industry but a consumer protection measure, enabling families to recognise foods high in sugar, salt and saturated fat. Clear risk communication strengthens trust in markets and encourages healthier product reformulation.

India now has an opportunity to act.
