It's critical that I voice my concern for the AK/HMAS FALIE. The FALIE is the only surviving historic merchant ship that served as a Royal Australian Navy (RAN) vessel during World War II, making it an irreplaceable part of our maritime heritage.

Unfortunately, the current condition of the FALIE is distressing: it is languishing due to insufficient attention and funding.
