Hi everyone!  Hope this update finds you happy and well. 

Last time Labor were in power  neglect and abuse was rife. They seem like a caring bunch and I’m holding out hope that the Aged Care system will improve under their watch this time. Please keep sharing the petition.

Stories of neglect and abuse are still being reported in the media and although a nurse on duty  24/7 may help a tad, it’s not going to fix the day in day out problem of too few skilled staff to take care of our elderly in care.  This is why we need skilled staff to resident ratios, without them the neglect will continue. 
 
When this petition reaches 500,000 it will be one of the largest supported petitions in Australia.  I wonder if the government will listen then? How many people have yo sign for them to take action? Please share the petition with family and friends because for many of us, this is our future. It’s people power that gets things done.  Be part of it!
